it's genloss ep 3 rewatch time! let's see if I cry this time

1. OH MY GOD I don't remember the last time I watched this episode and THE INTRO?? GOES SO HARD??? the glitches, the drone footage, the MUSIC??? ugh, perfection. literally took my breath away

2. hi gl!Ranboo, we are here, we want to help so badly (I feel so much despair at their ask for help)

3. I forgot how much the soundtrack in this ep adds to the ambience. it just feels so perfect for an abandoned mall where you don't know what to do, how to move forward

4. poor gl!Ranboo was just so scared. I think the only reason he trusts Hetch is because, well, what else can he do in this moment? he doesn't know where he is or presumably how he got there in the first place, so he clings to the first and only person to offer help, and that becomes his downfall

5. oh god, Hetch plants the idea that we, the audience, are not to be trusted. he says "they can't control you anymore." yes, it's true to some extent that we controlled him sometimes, but by saying "control" instead of "help" or some other, more positive connotating word, Hetch is making sure that Ranboo doesn't trust us, also making them trust Hetch more. it's an us vs them mindset. no wonder gl!Ranboo probably thought we killed him out of hate :(

6. oh, one of Ranboo's first thoughts being that he could have helped the others :(

7. "the police can handle this I can't handle this" ow ow ow :(

8. "that's security, you won't have to worry about it" yeah Charlie's the one that has to worry about it (I'm sorry)

9. oh Hetch said he reprogrammed the employees to think Ranboo is part of the show, but he really didn't because he Is still part of the show

11. when Ranboo is searching the office for the usb he finds a little army dude just like the one found in Charlie in ep 2. do you think the employees donated all the things Charlie had or,,,

12. on the day 1 plan whiteboard there's magnet letters spelling out "newspeak." did we ever figure out what that's for?

13. "looks like they've upped security since, uh" since last time? :(

14. I saw someone say that in the heart of the facility the place where Ranboo enters the code looks like lungs, and that made me realize all the tubes and wires around that are like intestines and arteries respectively. even the colors make sense for that

15. remember how I said Hetch planted the idea that the audience is not to be trusted? yeah, that's why it didn't matter what code we picked. gl!Ranboo was too scared of us

16. who's blood is it at security when the door is opened? an employee?

I think the feeling of choosing death will live with me forever. the way the majority chose live at first because of course we want to save them. and then we heard what will happen, and we tried so hard to 50/50 it because we couldn't accept either option. the moment Ranboo begged for death it switched over. the long pause before Hetch announces the result when we know what was chosen lets our decision sink in. and then it's done. we were forced to speedrun the five stages of grief, or at least the first four

31. the way we can hear gl!Ranboo's last breath before the box closes? god

32. the way, when the lights go red and there's silence and all we can do is watch, it finally looks like a heart with all the veins and blood. roll credits and tears roll down my face

Ok first of all, the bathroom thing was because it wasn’t how it normally was and it freaked me out right before exams, but now exams are done and I’m free!!

Secondly, I feel like I did well on my English exam so that dream helped me and lastly, I’m your age (15).

Thanks for all the messages <3 anyways I’m currently going through a stack of books I got from the library. I’ve started on American royals which is like a super drama filled book about America with kings and queens instead of a president and it is filled with cliches but I love it yk?

Anyways, I’ve ditched a group of friends that felt a bit toxic and my closer friends and I have been like bonding, so that has been great! One of my besties and I have also started like a therapy sesh where we talk about our family and stuff and I think that’s pretty good. I watched the externals last night too! Have you done anything fun in the past week? If you have any movie recs pleaseeee tell me. I have Netflix and Disney plus and so much time rn.

my cousin recommended i buy american royals and i have it! i just haven't read it :/ please let me know if you like it so i can have motivation to read again! i'm currently reading the secret (manifestation book). it's one of the most classic law of attraction books and i've had it for summer, but just haven't had the time to read. :(

i'm super happy for you on the dumping toxic friends part. it seems like everything is going well, for the most part! talking to close friends about family issues is one thing i couldn't do without. it really helps to get things off your system. how was eternals? i've heard some people didn't like it much! i honestly haven't done anything "fun", but it was fun to me! and so relaxing - i got to write and i've been putting together an extensive document where i record all my spiritual and witchy findings so people that want to learn can read it, too! it's not done yet, but it's been really fun putting it together! if you're interested, i can share the doc with you, too <3 i honestly don't have any movie recs, but here are the ones that i rewatch very often: monster-in-law, maid in manhattan, any twilight movie, but especially the first one, what a girl wants, and wild child. and i have good bad thriller movie recs if you like them - they're mostly psychological thrillers.

Aw thanks, anon! You should message me off anon – I’m seriously hardcore ARMY now lol.  I actually clicked on one of my TG mutuals’ BTS blog during Run era, but I didn’t know about the big HYYH plotline and thought the Sugakookie fighting was just some empty overdramatic BS for the sake of one MV so I closed the window and forgot about them.  But then a few days to a week after WINGS came out (last October), like 10 of my friends from a TG chat I was in back then wouldn’t stop talking about how good the album was so I decided to watch the BS&T MV out of curiosity.  I was kinda meh on BS&T at first, but the MV was gorgeous, I was interested in the meta that also pulled from Demian like TG did, and lmao I thought Yoongi looked really cool walking around and making hand gestures as he rapped in the MV so I kept rewatching for that, too.  After that I watched more MVs and Bangtan Bombs, fell in love with their music / dancing / personalities / chemistry…all the usual stuff.  I also saw them in Newark when they toured in America, and we got as close to 15 feet away from them in the pit =oooo.  And god don’t make me pick a fave song the Top 5 in BigHit’s survey was bad enough *angry face* lmao…honestly it’s Tomorrow because it really helped me get through a very tough few months with lines saying you’re just taking a break and can keep going keep trying.  It’s nice that they ended up focusing on wanting to comfort fans going through tough times with YNWA because they’ve been a comfort to me since the start ^^.  Other faves are Move, Hip Hop Lover, Baepsae, Butterfly, Gil/Path, Born Singer (cover), Fools (cover), BS&T, Dulset, but really I like or love at least 95% of anything they’ve put out =D.  If you wanna chat more, feel free to send another ask off anon though I get it if you don’t feel comfortable
